We respect user privacy and do not collect core personal identity information. TerraScope does not collect or store your name, email address, phone number, physical address, or any government-issued identification numbers.

2. Device Permissions and On-Device Processing

To deliver our core interactive mapping and camera features, the App may request access to certain hardware functions. These permissions are strictly requested via standard iOS system prompts and are only enabled upon your explicit consent.You can revoke them at any time in your device settings.

Location Services:When granted, your GPS location is used solely to display your current position on the map, show live traffic, or calibrate the compass. This data is processed in real-time on your device.
Camera & Photos:When granted, access to the camera and photo library is used exclusively to enable the GPS Location Camera feature (overlaying geographic data onto your photos). All image processing occurs strictly on-device. We do not access or store your personal photos on any external servers.

3. Limited Technical and Usage Data

To maintain App stability, diagnose technical issues, and optimize the user interface, the App may automatically process limited, non-personally identifiable technical information during your session:

Technical Specifications:Information such as device model, iOS operating system version, and basic performance metrics (e.g., crash logs).
Application Analytics:Temporary and anonymous interaction data (such as page views or feature utilization). This technical data is aggregated and used solely for internal analysis to help us diagnose app performance, reduce user drop-off, and improve overall user experience. It is never linked to your real-world identity.

4. Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third-party marketers. Any limited technical or analytics data processed is strictly protected using industry-standard encryption protocols during transmission.

5. User Control and Rights

You maintain absolute control over your device settings. You can modify or completely revoke TerraScope’s access to Location Services, Camera, or Photos at any time via the iOS Settings -> Privacymenu.
